Grounded in Aotearoa and heart belonging to the Pacific) and Chelita Kahutianui-o-te-Rangi Zainey (Waitaha; Ngāpuhi; Ngāti Kahu; Ngāti Haua; Lebanese; Scottish; Irish). The Cacao Ambassador is dedicated to fostering deep connections between Pacific cacao farmers and consumers, ensuring farmers receive fair compensation and have the opportunity to consume and appreciate their own cacao. Directions - Your Personal Cacao Ceremony

1. Take a few deep breaths. Hold, smell, touch and even taste your cacao paste to help awaken all the senses and support your coming into presence. Take a moment to set an intention.
2. Warm 1 cup of water until the steam starts to rise. Add 35 to 50g of cacao and let the cacao melt. Whisk briskly. Once the paste has dissolved, stop whisking and allow the elixir to boil rapidly until it thickens. Sweeten with honey to taste.
3. Enjoy each stage of the making, with mindfulness, breath, intention and presence. Enjoy the smell, the look, the texture and the tastes you make. Find the perfect quiet spot and be with this beautiful drink. Breathing deeply before you take your first sip. Enjoy!
